Zouheir Mejri has just been appointed Director General of Customs at the Ministry of Finance by decree No. 2024-143 of March 8, 2024, published in the Official Gazette of the Tunisian Republic (French: JORT) on March 12, 2024. Mejri succeeds Najet Omrani Jaouadi, who was dismissed as director general of customs by a decree issued by the Ministry of Finance and published in the JORT on February 7, 2024. Commissioner General of Police 1st class, Najet Omrani Jaouadi, has also been dismissed from her position as chargé de mission in the office of the Minister of Finance.
