Ouagadougou: The Beo-Neeré du Passoré association closed its 72 hours of activities on Saturday August 3, 2024 in Yako, with a final which pitted the 'Garba FC' team against the of 'Sacred Tree'. The match ended with a score of 0:0 in favor of the 'Arbre Sacré' sports team. A total of 16 teams took part in the 6th edition of the 72 hours of the Beo-Neeré du Passoré association organized in collaboration with the Danish Refugee Council (CDR). Bitterly contested between the 'Garba FC' team and the 'Arbre Sacré' team, the final of the competition was played in 2 x 20 minutes. After several attempts to impose its game, it was the 'Arbre Sacré' team which managed to snatch the trophy with a score of 1 goal to 0. Ranked champion, the 'Arbre Sacré' sports team obtained the sum of 50,000 CFA francs, a set of jerseys and a ball. The second, 'Garba FC' received a set of jerseys, a ball and the sum of 35,000 CFA francs. The third and fourth places, which are respectively the 'FC Pro' and 'FC Jeunesse' teams, receive d respectively 20,000 and 10,000 CFA francs in addition to a set of jerseys and a ball. In addition to football, women's cycling was part of this 6th edition . On this occasion, the best were awarded in kind and cash. According to the president of the organizing committee, Richard Banissi, the 72 hours of Béo-Neeré aim to promote social cohesion in the Passoré province. The 2024 edition was chaired by the prefect who is also President of the special delegation of the commune (PDS) of Yako PDS, Boukaré Zomodo under the theme 'Youth and social cohesion'. A ZIMBABWEAN court has convicted two government ministers for violating the country’s laws in
