Togbi Sri III, the Awaomefia of Anlo 'Dukor' (State) has urged candidates of this year's West African Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (WASSCE) within the Anlo area and beyond, to conduct themselves devoid of any examination malpractices. 'I congratulate you my dear sons and daughters of Anlo for completing your various secondary education courses and about to take your final examination. This examination forms an integral part of your educational life,' he said. Togbi Sri, in his goodwill message, advised all candidates nationwide, particularly those from his jurisdiction, to conduct themselves in manners that would not put them in any disrepute, but rather to portray the values of Anlo for which they had lived. Togbi Sri reminded them of their role as the future leaders of Anlo 'Dukor' and the Region as a whole, and that, their conduct during the examination must exhibit the true values of the Eweland. 'You portrayed hard work and perseverance during your school days, and you have been prepared to tackle the exams with boldness and fearlessness, so it is time to exhibit honesty and integrity by staying away from all exam malpractices,' he added. He said the recent fall in the standards of education in the area was worrying and showed high optimism for this year's candidates. Togbi Sri was, however, glad that the candidates had received all the necessary support they deserved from stakeholders and traditional leaders to enable them to perform well in their examinations. Final year SHS students across the country would commence their 2024 WASSCE from Wednesday, August 21, to September 02 this year. Source: Ghana News Agency
