Ghanaian singer/songwriter Blaca is poised to give women a voice in a male-dominated music industry through her unique style. Unveiling her new single 'Wayoo Wayoo,' Blaca said she seeks to captivate audiences with her God-given talent and was prepared to overcome musical barriers. According to Blaca, she found passion in doing music at a young age and decided to pursue a career in music despite societal pressures and scepticism from her peers. 'I think we as female musicians need to break traditional barriers of music and dominate the industry because I believe there are some talented female musicians out there,' she said. Blaca also emphasised the importance of mentoring renowned female artistes so that they can serve as an inspiration to younger artistes. When asked about her new single, 'Wayoo Wayoo,' Blaca described it as a dancehall anthem that showcases her versatility as a performer. 'With the release of my new single, I am to reach a wider audience across the globe and spread joy through my mu sic because I love what I do. 'I hope this single resonates with listeners and brings them happiness,' Blaca said in an interview.
