The office of the Presidential Candidate of the NPP, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, has organised a health screening exercise for about 3,000 people in the Evaloe-Adjomoro-Gwira Constituency of the Western Region. They also benefited from a health insurance renewal project. The exercise, which was organised by the Healthy Campaigners Team at the office of the Vice-President, formed part of activities to celebrate this year's Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Speaking to journalists at Bamianko, the NPP Parliamentary Candidate for Evaloe-Adjomoro-Gwira, Madam Catherine Abenlemah Afeku, who sponsored the exercise, said it was part of efforts to cater for the healthcare needs of the people so they could contribute to the development of the country. She stated that a future NPP government led by Dr Bawumia would prioritize healthcare delivery for all. President of the Healthy Campaigners Team, Dr Chris Adu Darko, said the nationwide exercise was designed by the NPP Flagbearer to totally screen Ghanaians of health issues for immediate attention. He said the exercise would also afford the government the opportunity to ascertain the health history and records of the people for immediate response and action. Source: Ghana News Agency
