Western North Region: Mr John Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen, the Presidential Candidate of the Movement for Change and leader of the Afrafranto Alliance, has taken his vision of establishing a Traders Bank campaign to the Western North Region to canvass votes. He stated that the idea behind establishing the Bank was to provide financial support to private businesses as part of his transformational plan to address Ghana's economic challenges if elected as president. According to Ghana News Agency, Mr Kyerematen urged the people of the Western North Region to ignore both the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and focus on the transformative agenda his Alliance aims to implement if voted into office. He refuted assertions that voting for him would be a waste of time, describing such claims as attempts by the two main political parties to confuse the electorate and continue subjecting Ghanaians to economic hardship. He emphasized that the Election 2024 is about the future and progress of the country and requires someone with a positive track record to be voted as President. Mr Kyerematen appealed to the residents of Sefwi-Wiawso to vote for him as the next president of Ghana and Veronica Ababio as the Member of Parliament, so they could implement their transformational agenda to prosper Ghana. As part of his tour of the Region, Mr Kyerematen met with various groups such as the youth, market women, clergy, and Muslim community to seek their advice, blessings, and prayers. The clergy and chief Imams offered prayers for him and his campaign team for God's protection and victory in the elections.
