During a visit to the Bechelli-El Blidet-Jarssine municipality in Kebili, a delegation from the Swiss Foundation for Development Cooperation undertook to carry out a feasibility study for three projects. Secretary-General of the municipality, Abdelkader Tlili, said these projects are part of the pilot initiative for integrated local development, a programme funded by the European Union. In a statement to TAP news agency on Wednesday, he pointed out that the projects involve the creation of a unit to recycle oasis waste, the construction of an open-air theatre in El Blidet and waste water treatment project in the villages of El Blidet, Jersine and Beni Mohamed. The "Pilot initiative for integrated local development" programme aims to carry out projects designed by the El Faouar and Bechelli-El Blidet-Jersine municipalities in Kébili with the support of the Swiss Foundation.
