Health Minister Ali Mrabet made an on-site visit to Hammamet local hospital, of Nabeul governorate, on Tuesday, where he took note of the digitalisation of the hospital's health information system as part of the "Essaha Aziza" initiative, financially backed by the European Union. European Union's ambassador to Tunis Marco Cornaro was also present. This digitalisation system encompasses the registration process at the hospital's reception desks, outpatient consultations, medical records, and primary health centres, said a Ministry statement. On this occasion, Mrabet emphasised the need to ensure the success of this pilot project and employing it judiciously to enhance the healthcare services offered to citizens and to ensure effective governance within this sector. He commended the cooperation and partnership with the European Union, exemplified by the "Essaha Aziza" programme. On his part, the European Union ambassador conveyed the EU's willingness to continue collaborating with the Ministry in executing the planned projects and ensuring their success.
