World's 5th Ons Jabeur on Thursday defeated Czech Linda Noskova (world's 41st) at the second round of the US Open (9/7), 4-6, 6-3.

Jabeur, a finalist at last year's US Grand Slam, had reached the second round of the tournament on Tuesday after a win over Colombia's Camila Osorio (world's 68th) 7-5, 7-6 (7/4).

Jabeur is playing Saturday Czech Marie Bouzkova (world's 31st) in the 3rd round.
