The police in the Kavango East Region said the 41-year-old teacher who collapsed and died at Friendly Private School in Rundu last Monday, died from a heart attack. The Namibian Police Force (NamPol) Crime Investigation Coordinator in the region Deputy Commissioner Bonifatius Kanyetu revealed to Nampa on Sunday, that: 'The postmortem report of the Sindano Racheal Masela has been done, and her cause of death is certified to be Acute myocardial infarction'. Acute myocardial infarctions are due to underlying coronary artery disease with symptoms of chest pain or discomfort with or without dyspnea, nausea, and/or diaphoresis. It is alleged that Sindano went to the tap to fetch water when she collapsed and died instantly. Meanwhile, the NamPol weekend crime report on Sunday indicated that 20-year-old Sara Nerumbu Ndjamba was struck by lightning on Saturday evening at Bunya Village killing her instantly. According to the police, Ndjamba was walking home from a water point in the company of her sister while ca rrying buckets of water on their heads when she was struck by lightning. Her remains were taken to Bunya State Mortuary for an autopsy to be conducted and the next of kin have been informed.
