Ajumako Kyebi: A young man in his late 30s tragically lost his life when a building collapsed during demolition in Kyebi, located in the Ajumako-Enyan-Essiam District of the Central Region. According to Ghana News Agency, the victim, identified as Kofi Paintsil and commonly known as Big Man, was killed instantly at approximately 05:50 hours on Friday. The building's rubble fell, causing fatal injuries as it struck his head, leaving him in a pool of blood. The community is in a state of shock and mourning following the unfortunate incident. Big Man, along with his brothers, was in the process of demolishing the family house to make way for renovations intended for their grandmother's funeral. Ghana News Agency reports that a sister of the deceased, who was overseeing the demolition, noticed potential danger and cautioned Big Man to reposition himself for safety. He dismissed her warning, believing he was out of harm's way. Unfortunately, as the building collapsed, he attempted to escape but tripped and fell , leading to his tragic death. Authorities have taken the body to the morgue, and the Ajumako District Police have begun an investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
