Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad, Nabil Ammar, will head the Tunisian delegation participating in the eighth regional forum of the Union for the Mediterranean (UfM) to be held in Barcelona on November 27. The forum will be devoted to the situation in the Middle East. The Minister will take this opportunity to reiterate to his counterparts from the member states of the Union for the Mediterranean Tunisia's principled and firm position in support of the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, which are not subject to any statute of limitations, according to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Nabil Ammar will also call on the countries of the region to assume their political and moral responsibilities and urge them to take effective action to put an end to the attacks by the occupying power, to ensure the uninterrupted flow of urgent humanitarian aid and to lift the blockade imposed on the Gaza Strip and the whole of Palestine. In the margins of this participati on, the Minister will hold a series of bilateral meetings with the Foreign Ministers of a number of partner countries and with senior officials of international organisations.
