Minister of Health Ali Mrabet met on Friday ambassador of the United Arab Emirates in Tunis Iman Ahmed Al-Salami.

The meeting focused on cooperation and partnership in the health sector and prospects for developing new programmes to support infrastructure and health investments, according to a statement from the Ministry.

The minister of Health reiterated his appreciation for the level of cooperation between Tunisia and the United Arab Emirates in the health field, which was embodied in a number of major projects, including the medical and surgical ambulance Centre in Jendouba.

He stressed the importance of working on diversifying the partnership to benefit from the medical expertise and successful experiences in both countries.
