Adidome: The National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) in the Central Tongu district of the Volta Region has partnered with the youth to promote peace and unity through a Peace Walk in Adidome. Mr George A.K Amey, the District Director of NCCE, emphasized the importance of unity in ensuring peace before, during, and after the elections. According to Ghana News Agency, Mr Amey highlighted the negative impact of money in politics on Ghana's democracy and urged the youth to be cautious. He advised the youth to avoid misinformation and disinformation, which could harm the country's democracy and development. Reverend Victoria Hiagbe, the Chairperson of the Inter-Party Dialogue Committee in the district, encouraged tolerance and respect among the youth, emphasizing that elections are about ballots, not bullets. She urged participants to perform their civic duties, ensuring that Ghana emerges victorious after the elections. Reverend Hiagbe further stressed the importance of promoting peaceful coexistence and responsible citizenship to safeguard Ghana's democratic stability.
