Tunis: An event entitled "Creators in support of Palestine", organised by the Regional Authority for the Family, Women, Children and the Elderly in partnership with the SOS Village, began on Sunday morning at the Children's Pilot Complex in La Marsa with the participation of a large number of children. During the event, organised as part of the National Campaign for the Victory and Glory of the Palestinian People, an online petition was officially launched in defence of the rights of Palestinian children and in honour of the mothers of the martyrs. Leisure activities, musical and theatrical performances and children's workshops were organised as part of this campaign led by Tunisian children to make their voices heard, send messages of hope and express their solidarity with Palestinian children. Minister of Family Affairs, Amel Belhaj Moussa, reiterated in a statement to the media Tunisia's constant position in favour of defending the Palestinian cause and the right of the Palestinian people to regain thei r legitimate rights and their stolen land in order to build an independent state with El Quds as its capital. She pointed out that this event, which coincides with the celebration of Mother's Day and the Day of the Palestinian Child, aims to send the voice of Tunisian children so that they can voluntarily express their support for the children of Gaza. For his part, Palestinian Ambassador to Tunisia, Hayel Fahoum, praised the organisation of this event, which was attended by children aged between 3 and 12, to defend the rights of the Palestinian people and raise awareness of the Palestinian cause among the world's children.
