The Tunindex continued its downward trend for a second session on Wednesday, losing 0.19% to 8,869.44 points. Trading activity remained subdued, with a total turnover of 3.4 million Tunisian dinars (TND), as reported by "Tunisie valeurs" in its daily analysis. The top performer was SOPAT, whose shares rose 5.6% to TND 1.900. The poultry specialist's shares generated a modest trading volume of TND 5,000. MPBS ended the session on an optimistic note, with the timber specialist's shares rising 3.3% to TND 4.650. This generated a trading volume of TND 51,000. On the other hand, SITS found itself at the bottom of the Tunindex rankings. The property developer's shares fell by 4.3% to TND 1.350. Trading activity in the stock was almost negligible during the session. The stock has had a disappointing performance since the beginning of the year, falling 27.4%. ARTES was one of the main losers, falling 4.1% to TND 5.900, with a trading volume of TND 35,000. Carthage Cement was the most active stock of the session. It closed in positive territory, rising 1.4% to TND 2.200. The cement company's stock contributed significantly to the market with a capital inflow of TND 486,000.
